Leading the art department at abc home & carpet was like living in a dream. The store is a mecca for beautiful artifacts from around the world. From scouting magical shoot locations to meticulous styling, every image is imbued with the brands DNA. My work ran in top home publications, the New York Times, and on Taxi TV.

Finding the Perfect Space

Finding the Perfect Space

Each season, abc chooses a new rug line to be campaigned in top home publications. The Milwaukee Art Museum was an incredible location for its palatial and light-filled spaces. The stark and futuristic architecture beautifully contrasted and displayed the antique rugs.

The holiday book is an opportunity for the brand to ascend into pure magic. Here I shot a series of bewitching imagery at Darren Waterson's installation, Filthy Lucre for MASS MOCA. The room has a certain notoriety for its allegorical peacock mural—inspiring the art direction for this work. The room was filled with smoke to this enchanting effect.

Lighting for the Unknown

Lighting for the Unknown

For the Sunclipse rug campaign I was looking for a space that could evoke a sense of ancient mystery. I found that in the dark spaces of Fort Tyron where the enchanting stone walls allowed the carpets to radiate outward. The rugs hail from Tibet and are unique to their medallion and mythical beast motifs. Space and light played an essential role in the weight of these images.
