Captain's Night In

Captain Morgan asked us to produce a holiday video that resonated with millennials who are going out less, and spending more time at home with friends. We worked with Adam DeVine to create a script that he could riff of of and bring some fun to the spot.

The tone of the video allowed us to get away with an over-the-top branded world which in turn became a successful holiday ecomm direct response campaign.

As the Captain Morgan audience begins to embrace ‘adulting’ we wanted to tell a funny holiday story about the excuses we make to stay in.

Over 50% of Captain Morgan’s sales occur during the holidays. So gifting was important for us to highlight and be top-of-mind for consumers during a time when rum drinks are also most consumed.

We ran our punchy cut-downs on social, driving to the full length video. We created a giphy sticker pack to add some fun to our content via native tools.
